The Bentley Continental was a line of convertible cars that replaced the Bentley Corniche in 1986. It's essentially the Bentley name for the Rolls-Royce Corniche II, III and IV which featured only minor upgrades. When the Corniche ended production in 1995, the Bentley Continental was replaced by the Bentley Azure while Rolls-Royce, under the Volkswagen Group, reintroduced the Corniche in 2000 as the Rolls-Royce Corniche V.
