The Porsche 911 Series became Porsche's flagship line from the introduction of the classic 911 in 1963 up to the present. Even though it underwent numerous automotive developments, it maintained its distinctive and rear-engined design throughout its 47 years.

The Porsche 997, unlike its predecessor the 996, returned back to the 911's tradition of making numerous internal changes but very little external changes. In fact, they even returned the circular headlights of the older 911s. Even the interior looked like that of the classic 911. While purists loved it, some consider Porsche as the "laziest design team in the world".

No additional machine sewing is necessary for installation but we do recommend using a professional trimmer for installation.
