The Jaguar XK120 was launched in 1949 as Jaguar's premier production sports car. First released as an aluminum-bodied roadster called the Open Two Seater (OTS), the model was later upgraded with steel bodies in 1950. Two more coupe versions, the Fixed Head Coupé (FHC) and the Drop Head Coupé (DHC), were added in 1951 and 1953 respectively. The XK120 was later replaced by the Jaguar XK140 in 1954.
