The BMW 7 Series is a line of top-of-the-line luxury cars. Introduced in 1977, it is BMW's main flagship line. The series is currently in its 4th generation and is only available as a sedan.
The BMW E38 was the successor of the
BMW E32 and is considered the 3rd generation of the 7 Series. Introduced in 1994, it started with 3 models: the 730i, 740i and 750i. In 1996, the 730i was replaced by the 735i and the 728i was added.
